ADP Development Partners

Switzerland

Thomas Frankl is Managing Director of Geneva-based Airport Development Partners SA (ADP), the airport investment and operations company of Brixton Capital. He also assists governments around the world in improving the operational efficiency of their airports, and in privatizing their airports through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP’s). In 2015, the United Nations asked him to lead a global team working to establish binding standards for the definition and implementation of airport PPP projects, which was ratified by the UN member states in early 2016. This assignment enhances ADP’s global credibility, provides it access to the most senior government officials in the transport sector, and gives it early visibility on attractive upcoming airport deals.

Born in Luxemburg, Thomas earned a Ph.D. (m.c.l.) in Economics from Munich University. He has previously worked in senior roles for Fortune 500 companies such as Texas Instruments, Intel and the United Nations in Geneva. He teaches graduate courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship, leadership, and corporate governance at the International University in Geneva. He speaks fluent English, French, and German.
