New industrial letting secures over 27,000 sqm at Bitterfeld-Wolfen
Westcore Europe has signed NexWafe Si-Fab GmbH, a subsidiary of German solar wafer manufacturer NexWafe, to a new lease for the entirety of Sun Park 3 (over 27,000 sqm) at its Bitterfeld-Wolfen industrial park, commencing January 2027. The unit was previously occupied by Meyer Burger, whose administrator has remained in the building following the company’s insolvency.
“NexWafe’s commitment to the full SP3 space reflects both the quality of the asset and sustained occupier demand along the Leipzig-Halle industrial logistics corridor,” said Jan Bartelheimer, Head of Acquisitions and Leasing.
